Originality is hosted by Aleen Simms and K Tempest Bradford. The show is all about exploring the wheres, hows, and whys of creative genius. The hosts are joined each episode by a diverse assortment of guests from a variety of fields.

Today, we are happy to announce the newest Relay FM podcast, Download.

The truth is there are way too many tech stories to keep up with each week. That's where Download comes in. Here's the idea:

What are the most important technology stories right now? From products and companies to services and trends, Download’s weekly panel of experts analyzes the biggest topics in tech ... and a few you may have missed.

Download is hosted by Jason Snell and produced by Stephen Hackett. It will feature a rotating panel of guests every week and the most important stories across the broad spectrum of consumer tech.

WWDC Meetups Tickets Available Now

The event is on Monday, June 5th, from 7 - 9:30 PM at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles. It's a 5 minute walk from the conference center AND IS FULL OF TAPESTRIES. What more could you ever want?

The event is free and open to all ages. There will be beer, so if you want to drink, you'll need your ID on you. We aren't doing a live show this year; this is just a good, old-fashioned social event. Please review our Code of Conduct.

This year, WWDC is moving to San Jose, and Relay FM will be there. We are hosting a meetup on Monday, June 5th, from 7 - 9:30 PM at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles.

Code of Conduct

Event Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and staff at our event are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Our event is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate including Twitter and other online media.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualised images, activities, or other material.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the event organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of event staff immediately. Staff will all be wearing a lanyard displaying the Relay FM logo and their name. Venue security and staff will also be on hand.

Event staff will be happy to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your attendance.

Announcing Almanac, with Andy Ihnatko

Today we are thrilled to unveil a new show that Andy Ihnatko has been working on. Almanac is an audio exploration of all of the things that pique Mr. Ihnatko's interest. He'll be covering the news of the week that has caught his eye, as well as bringing together a cavalcade of interesting characters to discuss topics ranging from the arts, to modern life, to technology. In Andy's own words, 'You'll never know what you'll find inside, but you'll find it interesting'.

Andy has been such a pleasure to work with as one of the hosts of the Material podcast, and we couldn't be more excited to be working with him on this new show. We're really excited to see the ways that Andy is going to be pushing the format of his show in to wonderful and varied areas, to create something different to what you've heard before.
